Pranassage | Thai Yoga Therapy | Which One?

Pranassage or Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy?

Pranassage and Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy, though similar, are two distinct approaches to mind-body wellness.  Both are incredibly relaxing and healing, but different people may respond differently to each modality.

Pranassage is very rhythmic and soothing. The goal of a Pranassage session is to bring awareness to all the different parts of the whole body by assisting the client through a series of yoga postures.  Pranassage produces a very dreamy state of being, but it is less suitable for targeting specific problem areas in the body. People who have trouble sleeping, concentrating, sitting still, winding down, or releasing from daily stress may find Pranassage to be very effective.

In contrast, Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy tends to be more intense as a key focus of the therapy is releasing blocked energy.   Stretching also plays a more prominent role, so Thai Therapy is great for anyone seeking to increase flexibility and mobility. Athletes and others with specific "problem" areas may find that Thai Yoga Therapy better addresses their needs.
